for homework, make a program that reads data from an online html or xml source and makes a visual representation of it. Use color, shape, movement, animation, text on screen, etc. Once you get that to work, use a timer to repeatedly check the data and update the visual representation. You may use whatever source you like EXCEPT the file in the example.
